No, antibodies are not required to enrich live cells.
If cells are labeled with a fluorescently conjugated antibody or dye, they can be visualized using our embedded microscope and fluorescent channels during a run. For greater detail on visualizing your sample inside the LeviCell 1 or EOS, please see this Knowledge Base article.
The LeviSelect products are antibody based and can be used to remove specific cells from the suspension (ie. negative selection) in a manner that allows the cells of interest to remain unlabeled for any downstream workflow or assay.
