How does the system enrich the top or bottom fraction?

• Negative pressure is delivered to the cartridge via pneumatic ports to draw fluid through the fluidic path based on where the split line is set. If the split line is set to something other than 0, the Top and Bottom outlet wells can have differential pressure draw.
• No liquid comes in contact with the pneumatic interface and thus the likelihood of any system contamination is very low since there is no physical contact between the samples and the instrument.
