LeviCell start-up error, Tecan pumps not detected (or failure to initialize camera)
When this error (Tecan pumps not detected) appears on start up of the Experiment Manager software, the most likely cause is that the LeviCell 1.0 system is not turned on.
The solution is to close down the software, make sure the LeviCell instrument is turned on (toggle switch labeled with I/O on the back of the instrument should have the "I" depressed closest to instrument) and wait for at least 30 seconds before opening up the Experiment Manager software to allow for all components to establish communication.
